If you’re looking for a comprehensive, interesting and exciting childbirth education class, then the Infant Wisdom class might be for you. The series is divided into six 2-hour sessions and is limited to 5-7 couples. Small classes encourage increased learning and participation. Infant Wisdom classes are not method-focused—they are information focused and will cover the following topics:

  • Prenatal nutrition
  • Emergency warning signs
  • Stages and phases of labor
  • Comfort measures
  • Typical interventions
  • Informed consent
  • Medications used in labor
  • Birth plans
  • Postpartum period

As a Certified Birth Doula, I have experience in many different childbirth situations and bring this experience to class to help my students. I also have the freedom to teach what my students want to know. Classes are held at Charleston Birth Place in North Charleston, SC (www.charlestonbirthplace.com). Classes fill up quickly, so register soon.

Please contact me if you are interested in hearing more about my childbirth education classes.
